Founded in 2017, onCyt Microbiology AG is a spin-off of Eawag/ETH Zürich. The company emerged from a need to monitor microbes in drinking water around the clock, leading to the creation of the first fully automated online flow cytometer for the industry.

 

onCyt's team of experts initially served clients in applied research across Europe, North America, and Asia, and soon expanded into different industries - aquaculture, cooling water, pulp&paper and biotechnology.
